First of all, welcome to D3Clans.com. It's been a long road of development to get to this point, and I sincerely hope the Diablo 3 community finds this website to be of use. For anyone wondering what D3C is all about, basically it is a clan and player database with tools built to help clans and players find each other, communicate, and hopefully better enjoy Diablo 3.

The website is set up in such a way that a clan/guild leader can create a profile for their clan. They enter general information about their clan, enough to give other players a snapshot of what the clan is about. Similarly, players can create a profile giving the same type of information. This allows clans and players alike to search based on their respective interests. This aids clans in recruiting players that will be a good fit, as well as players to find a clan that they will enjoy being a part of. This is done by allowing clans to send and mange invites, as well allowing players to submit applications to join clans.

Of course D3C offers more than this. We offer tools for communication, uploading of images, sharing of videos and URLs. Each clan gets a calendar to keep its members informed. Clan management tools such as the creation of ranks, and the ability to assign privileges to those ranks. This allows members to take part in the running of the clan. As time goes on we will post more and more articles to help clans with management and recruitment, as well as articles to help players with their clan, and with gameplay. As more details of Diablo 3 are known, we will also have a variety of tools and calculators to take some of the guesswork out of the game. Finally, after more information is known, we will host ladders and tournaments for players who are planning to enjoy PvP in Diablo 3.

All in all, we are looking to help provide players and clans alike in many different aspects of Diablo 3. More features are planned, and we are open to suggestions if you have any ideas. However with today’s press release, and beta starting in a short period of time, I didn't feel that I should delay the launch of this website any longer. So sign up, create your player profiles and your clans, and start finding a group of people whom you will play.
